Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What do I get when I purchase a program through Hospital-edu.com?A: When you make your payment, a link will be given to you to access the On-Demand files. Please bookmark or keep this link to access the file at a later date. Some programs are webinars (combined audio and video) and others are audio recordings. Both formats will include handout materials such as a PowerPoint or PDF.
Q: What do I need to view these files?
A: Presentations/handouts may require PowerPoint or Adobe Acrobat Reader (free). Microsoft offers a Free PowerPoint Viewer. On-Demand webinars should play in your browser with no problems. You may have to install Flash Player plug-in (already installed on 95% of all computers) or a Microsoft plug-in, but you will automatically be prompted and directed on these simple procedures if this is required.
Q: Do I need hi-speed internet to view these files?
A: Due to the large size of these audio and video files (12 - 60 MB+), it is highly recommended that you access these programs using a High-Speed connection to the Internet. It will make for a much more enjoyable experience. If you have questions about your connection speeds, please contact your IT department or your local cable/high-speed Internet provider.
Q: Can I share this program with other people within my Hospital or organization?
A: Yes. Once purchased you may view it on-line within your organization whenever you like for 6 months or download it for internal use. Please, in order to continue to offer these programs at a reasonable fee to health care organizations, we ask that you do not sell or distribute these programs outside of a single hospital or organization (not system wide) or to other groups.
Q: Once I purchase one or more of these programs, do I get full rights to them?
A: You may use them internally within your organization (one location), but you not sell them, redistribute, repackage or use any part of them as part of other productions without the presenter's approval. The intellectual property rights remain solely with the presenter of the program.
